With his adorable tomcat cheeks and gentle soul, Declan is ready to trade in his street life for a cozy forever home filled with love, naps, and plenty of head scratches. He’s a laidback sweetheart who enjoys playtime, but he’s just as happy soaking up affection and basking in a sunny spot like the king of comfort he was always meant to be!

Before finding his way to safety, Declan spent his days visiting a kind person’s home each night for food, slowly winning hearts with his persistence and charm. Once rescued, it was clear this boy was more lover than fighter, despite a few scratches from his outdoor adventures. Declan is thriving in care and ready to leave his rough-and-tumble days behind. He’s FIV positive, which means he can still live a long, happy, and paw-some life with the right care and lots of love. FIV, or feline immunodeficiency virus, affects a cat’s immune system but is not contagious to people. Declan would be perfectly happy as a solo cat. He is good with kids of all ages, though he hasn’t been tested with dogs. This handsome boy has so much love to offer!
