This handsome boy had a difficult life outside before coming to the rescue, but he hasn’t let his past change his gentle and loving heart! He was found on a rural property in heartbreaking condition, suffering from a severe eye injury and an injury to his leg. Despite everything he has endured, he has remained incredibly sweet, affectionate, and trusting!
Scrappy is a total lovebug who enjoys offering head butts, soaking up pets, and cuddling with people. He especially enjoys being brushed and chomping down on wet food. He does well with other cats, but has not been tested with dogs or children. Scrappy is FIV+, but don’t let that scare you away! Cats with FIV can live normal lives with regular vet care, and since FIV is transmitted to other cats through deep bites, Scrappy is very unlikely to pass anything onto feline companions due to his gentle, loving nature.
