Meet Cherry, a timid little sweetheart who's still learning that the world doesn't have to be such a scary place! This gentle girl came into the rescue after her previous family faced an apartment eviction. While the adult cats in their former home were familiar with human companionship, Cherry and her kitten siblings were left unsure of who they could trust. Cherry is a sensitive little soul who finds comfort in the company of other cats. She's often spotted quietly hiding behind a feline friend, letting someone else be the brave one while she takes her time observing the world around her.
Behind that bashful exterior, Cherry has a playful side that's beginning to peek through! She enjoys toys that roll, especially little balls that race around a plastic track. Watching her become curious and engage in play is a lovely reminder that there's a sweet little personality waiting to bloom when she feels safe! Cherry has a special appreciation for wet food, which may act as a bonding tool with her future family. Because Cherry is very timid and may try to escape when frightened, she needs a calm, secure home with a patient family who understands the importance of giving her space and allowing her to settle in at her own pace. Extra care will be needed around doors and other possible escape routes to keep her safe. Cherry hasn’t been tested with dogs or kids. She would love to have a feline friend in her forever home.
