MASON - This giant teddy bear is done braving the outdoor life!
D.O.B. 06/19/2024

- Male
- White & Black
- Domestic Short Hair
- Neutered
- Microchipped & Dewormed
- FIV Positive, FeLV Negative
- Vaccinated for Rabies & FVRCP (at appropriate age and weight; if adopted before this, vaccines are adopter’s responsibility)

Gentle giant Mason came to us as a stray in very rough shape. Though unsure of people, Mason bravely approached someone for assistance. He came to us hungry, thin, and not looking his best! With time and care, Mason is now thriving as the affectionate cat he is known to be today.

Mason has undergone some dental work and due to that, his little tongue sometimes sticks out! This goofball of a guy takes time to open up to strangers and may seem very perplexed by a new environment until he settles in. He simply isn't sure about car rides, kids, or dogs yet. He needs a bit of help with his general grooming to maintain his handsome fluffy fur, and he enjoys the beautification process very much! With time, Mason has really let down his walls with the shelter volunteers and shown his warmth and unique personality.

Mason is FIV+, but don’t let that scare you off! His FIV status just means that his immune system doesn’t operate at top function, and is easily manageable with proper vet care. FIV can only be spread to other cats through deep bite wounds, which loving Mason has no intention of giving!

His little blep and slow blinking eyes will absolutely melt your heart. Mason would do best with a down-to-earth cat friend who is respectful of his need to take things slow. He is adored by the shelter volunteers and with a little help here and there, he cleans up well! If this soft-spoken gentleman sounds like a perfect fit for your home, please fill out an adoption application for Mason today!
