Meet Patches (or as his adoring fans at the shelter know him, Little Patchy)! This unique gentleman is the kind of cat who walks into a room and immediately owns it, and he has the face to prove it. With his adorable old man expression and distinguished brown tabby markings, he looks like what you'd get if Marilyn Monroe was reincarnated as a dignified gentleman – complete with the mole! He approaches strangers openly and with great confidence, and he is famously, magnificently vocal about his needs. He is, without question, one of the most memorable cats to ever grace our doors, and it is no surprise whatsoever that he has become a firm favourite among our volunteers!
Patches has what we describe as a rich inner emotional life. What he lacks in predictability, he more than makes up for in affection and sheer entertainment value. He seeks attention constantly, and will make sure you know when he feels you haven't been giving him enough of it! When he isn't busy requesting love or hollering for his next meal, Patches enjoys batting toys around his space with great enthusiasm. He is a complete character, and life with him is never, ever dull!
Patches was surrendered alongside another cat named Olive, and he has shown that he can share his space with a calm feline companion who is willing to respect his boundaries. He hasn't been tested with dogs, but he adores children! There is truly nobody else like Little Patchy, and whoever gets to take him home is going to be very lucky.
